Who is Ted?

Ted Yeates

“Hi, I’m Ted

I am the owner and advisor of Your Money Friend Ltd.  I provide unbiased professional assistance to clients of all ages who are looking to protect their families and potential heirs throughout life and beyond.

But why should you trust me?

My background:

I have been working in the financial services for longer than I can remember. I started my career with 23 years’ service in the Royal Army Medical Corps as a Combat Medic. Since my discharge in 1984 much of my life has been spent working in or running different groups related to helping people in later life, something which I am naturally passionate about.

I set up and chaired a branch of the Royal British Legion in Germany. I was a founding director of IFA Care which helped professional advisors understand long term care legislation.  And I was Chairman of the Life Insurance Association for Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire in the late 1990s.

In demonstration of my expertise, I also served as a member of a government committee involved in the licensing of financial services products.

My claim to fame.

Over the years I have excelled at identifying areas of concern affecting family welfare and have worked tirelessly to develop suitable solutions. An example of this was when I was working with Marius Barnard, the brother of Christian with whom he carried out the first live heart transplant, developing Critical Illness Insurance plans that could be included with mortgage protection insurance.

More recently I was elected as The President of the Chamber of Commerce in Abingdon on Thames.

How I can help today.

Now in my 70s, my passion with helping people to protect their families and chosen beneficiaries in a speedy and tax-efficient way continues.

I achieve this by drawing on my experience and partnering with leading, highly qualified, professionals dedicated to increasing consumer choice, transparency and pricing fairness within their specialist industry.”
